Tatum Fettig is a recent graduate of the James Madison College at Michigan State University, where she studied comparative cultures and politics, and public relations.
As a communications strategist, Tatum contributes to earned media efforts for client teams including Hemlock Semiconductor, Steelcase Foundation, Michigan Community Action, and more. She also supports social media strategy for various clients, including the Early Childhood Investment Corporation and the Protect MI Care Coalition.
Before joining Bellwether Public Relations as a student practitioner in January 2026, Tatum worked as a Title IX Communications intern for MSU’s Communications & Marketing Office. Prior to that, she completed a communications internship at Treetops Collective, a nonprofit for immigrant women in Grand Rapids. In these roles, she developed press releases, social media content, and infographics to support events and programs at each organization.
In her free time, Tatum enjoys being outside, reading, doing puzzles, and trying new restaurants.
